This website (beenido.com)

The public pages set no cookies. The home, about, contact, privacy and terms pages load one analytics script from PostHog, hosted in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com). It counts page views and page leaves, and keeps an anonymous visitor id in your browser's local storage instead of a cookie. It builds no person profiles, has no autocapture, no session recording and no heatmaps, and it does nothing if your browser sends Do Not Track.

The commission calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type into it are not sent to a server by the page.

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages.

The app (beenido.com/app): hosts and managers

Managers sign in with an email address and password. Account and product data is stored in Supabase (a hosted database, sign-in and file storage service). It includes:

  • your profile and interface language;
  • your flats: name, address, location, host contact details, the facts you enter for the guest book, checklists, rate periods and iCal calendar feed addresses;
  • stays: dates, a guest name, and optionally a guest phone number, as entered by the manager or imported from the calendar feed;
  • messages, service orders, charges, cleaners and turnover tasks, including the photos cleaners upload;
  • guest feedback, journal entries and consent records (each with a text version and timestamp; marketing consent is stored separately from the consent needed to run a stay).

The sign-in state and a few display preferences are kept in your browser's local storage. The manager dashboard map loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap, so your browser contacts that service when the map is shown.

Guests

Guests open a link to their stay's guest book; they do not create an account. What they type into the guest book (questions, feedback, journal entries) is stored with the stay. Managers can read it.

AI processing

When a guest asks the guest book a question, the question and the host's facts for that flat are sent to Anthropic's API through a server function, to write the answer. The question text and whether it was escalated to the host are kept in the database, so the host can see how many questions were answered and how many escalated. Anthropic's API is also used to translate the host's facts into other languages and to extract facts from text a host pastes in.

Payments

Beenido does not process payments and this website collects no card details. A manager can paste a payment link (for example from Stripe) for a paid extra; a guest who taps it goes to that provider's page, and Beenido records only that the guest showed interest (the service, the amount and the channel used).

Your questions and requests

To ask what is stored about you, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. If you are a guest, the flat's manager is the one who entered your details, so mention which stay it was.
